Default larger quantity money drops

well, I'm one of those people who farm or grind like say 1 or 2 times a week (make like 3-7kif lucky), the other time I do missions with PUGs or henchies. Now I just think that maybe instead of the average gold drop say 50-150 gp for each party members, could it be more like 250-500gp for each party memeber or something. I feel if it was that way doing pve just for fun or with PUGs maybe a lot more attractive and I just hate grinding/or farming and I'm sure the ajority does too. Even grinders and farmers get their scaled rewards too. k thanks, any suggestions?

Gold drops just suck.

First of all, they hould not be shared, but picked 'as is'. That is, if 50gold drop, all party mebers should get 50gold, being they 1 or 8. To praise parties make of more members.

Second, they should be more variable. With 'rare' drops. Most of the time, drops in areas have too similar drops. Around 100 are like 95..105. And usually 190..210 from bosses.

Gold drops are just 'filler' drops like that. Almost useless. You get more gold from items sold to merchants.

Drops in areas of average '100' should go from 50 to 'very rare' drops of 1k.

That is, gold drops should have real rarity. Not like now. Now they could just always have a fixed number and no one would notice.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind some way for those PvE players who don't want to farm to earn some money. I like Mithran's suggestion of rare gold drops. Sure, it'd still be faster to farm then to play the game normally (quests, or exploration, or vanquishing), but I think that those who find it too boring should have another option.

Apart from raising the amount of gold that is dropped, I think that raising the gold rewards for quests would be a good idea. I liked a lot of the rewards in EotN, where we actually got some money for what we did, instead of a lousy 100-250g or something. But the older campaigns are still lacking. I know that it's not likely to happen, but updating the quest rewards would be good.

Creeps in higher level areas should drop at least 200g.. it really ridiculous when 50g drops and its divided into 6g for each person...

Gold is fine to come by. You don't really need it, and if you want any of that fancy stuff, you gotta work for it.

Im sorry, let me understand this.... you farm 1 or 2 times a week and each time you make 3-7k if your lucky? Is this suggesting you have problems making gold ingame?

Excuse the language, but WTF!!

Dude you can make 3-5k easily just selling drops from doing one mission, quests or dungeon! You could bounty hunt or clear an instance and walk away from 2-3k in drops easily too.

How the hell are you "lucky" to make 3-7k just from farming? *glare*

I seriously worry about people who play this game and try to suggest that making gold is hard to do. Its not rocket science that if you sell all your drops to the merchant you can make gold very fast and easily.

I dont farm, I dont play hardcore and somehow I seem to make enough gold for elite armor and weapons and dyes and all the rest.

It may take time to save up, but your only talking a few weeks or months. We dont need higher gold drops in the slightest. Just learn to save your gold and dont spend it every 2 seconds (which you obviously are doing) on things like mini-pets and greens and pointless objects!!

Choose something to save up for and save up! You make most of your gold from selling items that drop to the merchant, not from the gold which drops. Try to learn that.

If you just want more gold so you can buy an expensive Green or buy FOW armor or some expensive mini pet, then get real! If you choose to buy expensive stuff, then you have to learn it will take ages to get the gold. All stuff you dont need.

I farm. For golds, for materials, for gold/plat. I can get 10k in a day if I don't try. I enjoy it. Before I farmed, I made decent money just doing quests and selling the loot. I was able to put 15k armor on every character I had before I started farming.

This doesn't need to be changed. I wouldn't mind too much if it did, but the only change would be the number on the price of an item. More money in the pot = money is less valuable = inflation. Americans know all about this.

yea i agree, moar gold isn't gonna solve your woes. Inflation would prolly make things harder for you anyway. Besides, there needs to be a barrier to getting all the stuff u want in game. If every1 could be "God" there would be no "mortals" for every1 to "walk amongst" (omg... im starting to sound like kai ying)

increase quantity of money drops , but let it drop like items, money drops are then not splitted anymore, mone is then ever dropped for a certain person ...

so simple is that, because its really stupid, when you get 100 g dropped, and it gets divided by 8 -_- wow a win of 12,5 gold (13) how awesome ... >_<

You need to get nly one silly white drop and you can sell it for like 50g ....
Money drops should get really higher ...
how they are in the moment, the money system sucks, increase quantity a lot and let the money drop then ever for certain people, like items drop for certain people per chance....

I don't ask for 'bigger' drops all the way, just for more variable drops.

As they currently are, it's like killing all mobs in one area and getting always a long sword.

Boring, isn't it?

That's What I meant. Gold drops shoul be something 'wroth to pick' and not a thing that you don't care aboutbecause you will get only 6gold. People just leave them be, and probably other would pick them, and i no one pick them, who cares? You'lll get 1..2k for white drops you pick.

Gold in parties? Ha! No more than 100. And that in a lucky day. Only solo farmers care about gold.

Face it guys golds are worth sh*t I merched 100% of mine that dropped except for a 15^50 celestial sword once. More gold would probably help, because right now gold is a filler drop due to the fact that it's split. I did Urgoz with my guildies and all the gold drops together (thats a lot of gold trust me) amounted to about 1.5k per player

umm.. I farm UW and FOW and even sellin ectos or shards I amount to like 5-7k. But atm gold is filler, filler, filler....
